Scope of work

Every section is written with the failure modes in mind — the things that typically go wrong on full website redesign projects. Use them verbatim or edit to match how you actually deliver.

  1. 01

    Audit & Inventory

Crawl the existing site, categorize every URL, score pages by traffic and conversion value, and flag content that's outdated or duplicating. Output: a page inventory spreadsheet with keep / rewrite / cut decisions locked before design begins.

  2. 02

    Stakeholder Workshop

Two 90-minute sessions with decision-makers to align on goals, success metrics, and explicit must-keep / must-cut choices. A signed-off brief prevents scope drift once visual design starts.

  3. 03

    Information Architecture

Revised sitemap, content priorities, and conversion-flow mapping. Key-page wireframes validated against the locked goals before any pixel of visual design.

  4. 04

    Visual Design System

Type, color, spacing, and component system in Figma. 4–6 page templates designed to production fidelity, with dark mode considered from the start where relevant.

  5. 05

    Development Build

Responsive implementation on the agreed stack (Next.js, WordPress, Framer, or equivalent), with CMS fields scoped for non-technical editing. Performance budget enforced: under 2.5s LCP on 3G.

  6. 06

    Content Migration & SEO Preservation

Move existing content with URL redirects, meta preservation, and schema markup updates. Analytics event parity verified against the old site before DNS cutover to prevent traffic drops.

  7. 07

    QA, Launch & Handover

Cross-browser QA, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility pass, launch-day checklist, and a 45-minute editorial training with recording. 2-week warranty window for critical fixes post-launch.
